Anxiety plagues us mentally, but it can also take a nasty physical toll. An anxiety attack is our body’s way of saying it can no longer deal with the stress hormones overwhelming it. It can feel like a heart attack. Sometimes it takes a medical event of that magnitude to prompt us to seek help and make the changes we need, both physically and mentally.
