The U.N.’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) says that healthy plants give us oxygen, reduce hunger and poverty, protect the environment and boost economic development. Plants make up 80 per cent of the food we eat, but every year about half succumb to pest and disease. Climate change and reduced biodiversity are big contributors.
